Position Overview:
Marilyn C. Nelson is Co-CEO and former chairman of Carlson Holdings, Inc., and serves as a Director Emeritus on CECP's board. For the 2024 Marilyn C. Nelson Internship, CECP seeks a paid intern to support the Communications team with multiple tasks, including but not limited to, assisting with CECP’s new branding guidelines and style guide, content calendar, as well as event support.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Communications team with day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with Communications team and other pods to collect brand assets for staff content hub.
  • Support the team with the creation of a new brand and style guide.
  • Support content calendar by keeping the calendar up to date with CECP social, releases, events, outreach, newsletters, blogs, etc.
  • Support social media as needed.
  • Assist events team with digital logistics and maintenance for events, such as Salesforce data entry, logging and reporting, SharePoint maintenance, and shared calendar updating.

This role is for you if you have:
  • Demonstrated professional interest in communications/digital marketing.
  • The ability to undertake multiple tasks, under time pressure, in a careful, timely manner while hitting deadlines; the ability to move easily between multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience and competence in working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent research, writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong skill set and knowledge in Microsoft Office required
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Pardot, WordPress, Google Analytics, ZoomInfo, and Zoho is a plus.
 

Location:         Fully remote

Stipend:           $20/hour

Duration:         10 weeks, 40 hours/week, start date in May or June
